Channel Guide Magazine has reported that Sasquatch and Mothman are among “Monsters and Mysteries in America” explored in new Destination America series.
Destination America premiered its new entry into the paranormal genre called Monsters and Mysteries in America. While this series does touch on some of the more well-known supposed monsters in America, like Bigfoot, Skunk Ape and MOTHMAN, it also delves into some lesser-known reported entities, like the SHEEPSQUATCH of Kentucky.
The format of Monsters and Mysteries in America is interesting, with each episode taking a look at a particular region of the United States and exploring the creatures and legends that have arisen from that area’s folklore, featuring stories of people who claim to have encountered beasts from the local legends.
American Monsters co-founder, Rob Morphy, serves as a consultant and illustrator for the program, which premiered on March 24 at 10pm ET/PT, and will be airing Sundays.
